I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London and in the past have held positions at TU Munich, LMU Munich, Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, King's College Cambridge, Microsoft Research, TU Berlin, and the University of Glasgow.

I am interested in the design and mathematical analysis of systems where strategic behavior of individuals leads to good outcomes for the system as a whole, and in fundamental problems in algorithms, mathematics of operations research, and applied probability.

I am involved in the organization of the 30th British Combinatorial Conference.

I was named after a cartoon cat.
