page 2: the formula for var(aX+bY) should (obviously) read

var(aX+bY)=a^2var(X)+b^2var(Y)+2abcov(X,Y).

page 2: (a) P(T(0)>18) is equivalent to P(X>18), not P(X>0) as
appeared there (twice).

page 2: (b) Similarly, P(T(25)>35) is equivalent to P(X>25+35|X>25)
(not P(X>35|X>25) as appeared there)


3. Select mortality: worked examples

page 2: There were (obvious) typos in the definitions appearing in
the 5th, 6th and 7th items in the notation list.

In the definition of p_{[x]+k} the equation should read
p_{[x]+k}=P(T([x]+k)>1) (not p_{[x]}=... as appeared there).

In the definition of t_p_{[x]+k} the equation should read
t_p_{[x]+k}=P(T([x]+k)>t) (not p_{[x]}=... as appeared there).

In the definition of t_q_{[x]+k} the equation should read
t_q_{[x]+k}=P(T([x]+k)<t) (not p_{[x]}=... as appeared there).

4. Interpolation on LTF

There was a typo inside the integral appearing in (1): 
the integrand should be mu (x+t) and not mu(x+1).

page 2: the formula for var(X+Y) should read

var(X+Y)=var(X)+var(Y)+2cov(X,Y).

2. Lectures 10-11

Expression for linear interpolation (halfway down page) had $u$ and
$(1-u)$ the wrong way round.

page 2: (a) P(T(0)>18) is equivalent to P(X>18), not P(X>0) as
appeared there (twice).

page 2: (b) Similarly, P(T(25)>35) is equivalent to P(X>25+35|X>25)
